Ana Baldioli is a physical therapist and HeartMath Certified Trainer. She has always been interested in the mind-body-spirit connection to improve health. While formerly working as an inpatient physical therapist at UCLA hospital for several years, she incorporated mindfulness, mental rehearsal, and breathing techniques to enhance patients’ recovery. She now serves as the Inpatient Integrative Medicine Coordinator for UCLA Health, overseeing various integrative medicine programs to promote healing for the inpatient population, including: massage therapy, music therapy, Reiki, guided meditations, aromatherapy, breath-work, mindful movement, compassion-based interventions, restorative poses, and other relaxation techniques. Ana also trains UCLA’s staff on how to easily incorporate holistic modalities into their patient care.
